FAW’s Bestune Xiaoma 222 is being offered in Vietnam from VND 232 million, including VAT. The small electric city car is aimed at buyers seeking an easy-to-manoeuvre vehicle for everyday urban trips, with rounded styling and a cabin presented as more fully equipped than its size might suggest. The first 222 customers to order receive a wall-mounted home charger, three years of free maintenance, three years of free roadside assistance and a complimentary VETC toll tag.

The Xiaoma 222 measures 3,000 mm long, 1,510 mm wide and 1,630 mm high, with a 1,953 mm wheelbase and 130 mm of ground clearance. Its rear-mounted electric motor produces 42 hp and 90 Nm of torque; top speed is 100 km/h. Drivers can select Eco or Sport modes, and the front suspension uses a MacPherson strut layout.

An 18.11 kWh LFP battery provides a claimed range of up to 222 km per charge. AC charging is available, while the Plus version also supports DC fast charging, taking the battery from 30% to 80% in about 65 minutes. Cabin equipment listed includes a 7-inch LCD display, manual air conditioning, two speakers and Bluetooth connectivity; Bluetooth key access and leather seats are available on some versions. Safety equipment includes a driver airbag, ABS, EBD, hill-start assist, rear sensors and a reversing camera.
