Brazil's Best Full-Size Pickups for 2026: Ford F-150 Tops the RAM Duo

Brazilian magazine Quatro Rodas has wrapped up its 2026 best-buy rankings for full-size pickups priced above R$300,000, and the podium is an all-American affair: the Ford F-150 Lariat takes first place at R$560,000, ahead of the RAM 1500 Laramie Night Edition (R$599,990) and the RAM 3500 Limited Longhorn (R$679,990).

The winning F-150 pairs a 405-hp 5.0-liter V8 with a ten-speed automatic whose shifter folds flat to form a work surface, and it hauls up to 681 kg — the best payload in the class. Buyers who dislike the standard chrome can pick the identically priced Lariat Black with dark trim. Kit includes a power tailgate with a built-in step, ventilated power front seats, three 110V outlets, a 12-inch touchscreen, Bang & Olufsen audio and adaptive cruise control. The Ford also scores best on ownership: 7% depreciation, the cheapest insurance at R$8,815, a 128-dealer network and the lowest servicing bill of the trio, although its parts basket is the priciest at R$27,624.

Runner-up RAM 1500 Laramie Night Edition counters with a 426-hp twin-turbo 3.0-liter six, rear air suspension for a plusher ride, power side steps and lockable storage boxes along the bed. That extra performance and comfort push the price up, and its insurance premium of R$18,367 is more than double the Ford's.

Third-placed RAM 3500 Limited Longhorn targets buyers who tow very heavy trailers such as motorhomes. Its 6.7-liter Cummins six-cylinder makes 436 hp through an eight-speed automatic, and leaf-spring rear suspension allows 1,599 kg in the bed and a 9,079 kg towing capacity.
