Chery Australia Puts Its Full Lineup on Display, From a $23,990 Small SUV to a Diesel PHEV Ute

Chery's Australian website lays out an eleven-model range that starts at $23,990 driveaway for the Tiggo 4 — which the brand claims is the country's best-selling small SUV — and tops out at $45,990 for the seven-seat Tiggo 8 Super Hybrid. In between sit the Tiggo 7 in petrol and Super Hybrid form, the Tiggo 8 Pro Max, the newly available Tiggo 9 Super Hybrid, and the C5 crossover in petrol and hybrid versions.

Electrification is the clear focus. The Super Hybrid variants are quoted at around 1,200 km of combined range, with the flagship Tiggo 9 claimed to cover up to 170 km on electricity alone and 1,250 km in total. A fully electric E5 rounds out the lineup from $37,990, while the Stockman — billed as "Australia's first diesel PHEV ute", with 3.5-tonne towing and a 2.5-litre turbo-diesel hybrid system — is still listed as coming soon.

Buyers are being courted with cashback offers of up to $3,000, fuel card bonuses and finance from a 3.88% comparison rate, backed by a 7-year unlimited-kilometre warranty, capped-price servicing and up to seven years of roadside assistance. The brand also leans on local marketing ties, including partnerships with St Kilda FC, the Gold Coast Marathon and the Kooyong Classic, plus a tie-in with TV show The Block built around the Tiggo 9 Super Hybrid.
