Exeed's Oman model site spotlights the RX, led by a 445 kW AWD plug-in hybrid

Exeed, the premium arm of China's Chery group, uses its official Oman importer site to present the RX crossover as an SUV aimed at a wide range of lifestyles, with dedicated sections for design, cabin, handling and driver assistance. Both the petrol RX and the RX PHEV get their own powertrain pages.

On styling, the page highlights a 0.618 body proportion, a wide 1.145 stance and a claimed 0.326 drag coefficient, alongside headlights said to echo the Greek sigma letter, a frameless diamond-pattern grille, flush electric door handles and a rear spoiler that adds downforce.

Inside, the car carries a Sony-sourced audio setup with 14 speakers plus two headrest units that switch between shared, driving and private listening modes. There is also voice-controlled ambient lighting with static, rhythmic and flowing settings, while acoustic glass and Michelin noise-reducing tires underpin the quietness claims.

The PHEV headline figures are 445 kW on AWD, a 4.90-second 0-100 km/h sprint, roughly 1,300 km of WLTC combined range and 1.2 L/100 km NEDC consumption. Supporting specs include a hybrid engine with 44.5% thermal efficiency, a three-speed DHT rated at 97.6% transmission efficiency, three motors delivering 3,800 N·m of wheel-end torque, and an intelligent AWD system that splits torque from 0-90% up front and 10-100% at the rear. The page also lists CDC electromagnetic suspension with three modes, hydraulic damping struts, steering response improved by 20%, and seven drive modes spanning snow, mud, sand and off-road use.
