Firefly Caps Its New Club Spiaggia Special Edition at 666 Units for China

Nio's Firefly brand took the wraps off the Club Spiaggia on August 28, 2026, a China-market special edition restricted to 666 cars. It carries a sticker price of 135,800 yuan, while buyers on the BaaS battery-rental plan can cut the purchase price to 95,800 yuan on top of a 399-yuan monthly battery fee. Deliveries to Firefly showrooms began on August 29.

Design, not hardware, is what sets this version apart. The theme draws on the southern Italian seaside, bringing exclusive blue paint, special decal graphics and white multi-spoke alloys, along with a cabin trimmed in light-toned seats, full-floor carpeting, a one-off infotainment wallpaper, cabana-style stripes and orange accents inside and out. That puts it roughly 13.4% above the entry Free Edition at 119,800 yuan, and it also undercuts nothing against the Glow Edition, which starts at 125,800 yuan.

Club Spiaggia is the sixth Firefly special edition, following Nomadic Maillard, Night Creature, Pegasus Rhapsody, Retro Futurism and Pixel Player. The Pixel Player, launched in June at the same 135,800 yuan but limited to 333 cars, sold out in under eight hours. July saw the debut of the design-focused Halo family, whose first model, the Habitat, lists at 133,300 yuan.

The steady stream of limited editions is Firefly's way of sustaining buzz around a lineup that still has just one production model, while testing how much of a premium customers will pay for special styling. The brand delivered 5,771 cars in July 2026, up 143.9% year on year though down 16.9% from June, taking the seven-month total to 34,943 units. Since August 7, Firefly has also gained access to Nio's fifth-generation battery swap stations for the first time, resolving the short-wheelbase limitation that previously kept the car out of those stations.
