GAC Vietnam at a glance: GS3 EMZOOM debut, Malaysia-built exports and an E10 fuel pledge

GAC Vietnam's official website offers a compact snapshot of the brand's local operation. Two models are on sale: the five-seat GS3 EMZOOM, with a 1.5-litre turbo GDI engine and Level 2 driver assistance, from 639 million dong; and the seven-seat M8, pairing a 2.0-litre turbo GDI with an Aisin eight-speed automatic, at 1.799 billion dong.

Ownership promises are front and centre: a seven-year warranty, seven years of free 24/7 roadside assistance, and free labour on scheduled maintenance for seven years or 150,000 km, whichever comes first. The site also cites GAC's background of nearly two decades working alongside Toyota and Honda in China as the foundation of its manufacturing quality.

The lead news item is the official Vietnamese debut of the GS3 EMZOOM 1.5T Premium R, announced in Hanoi with a date of July 9, 2026. Pitched as the country's sportiest B-segment SUV for tech-savvy young buyers, it follows a "Zoom into Style" theme and a Star Diamond Shadow design language.

Two further updates round out the picture. The first left-hand-drive GS3 EMZOOM units have rolled off Tan Chong Motors' Segambut plant in Malaysia for export to Vietnam, with GAC Group president Xia Xianqing attending the line-off ceremony. Separately, distributor TC Services Vietnam confirmed that the entire local lineup — M8, GS8, M6 Pro and GS3 EMZOOM — is compatible with E10 biofuel meeting Vietnamese standards.
