Lada Vesta Sport Gains New Features While Prices Hold Steady

The sporty versions of Lada's Vesta are picking up two new conveniences. Both the Vesta Sport sedan and the SW Sport wagon now feature an air-conditioning system that maintains a set cabin temperature, adjusted through illuminated rotary knobs on the center console for temperature, airflow direction and fan speed — with the readings also shown on the 10-inch vertical touchscreen of the Lada EnjoY Vision Pro infotainment unit.

The second addition is the Lada Connect Start telematics service. Linked to a smartphone, it lets owners check fuel level, vehicle location, engine temperature and battery charge remotely, and confirms whether the engine is running or the doors and trunk are locked.

The hot variants, developed with input from Lada Sport's circuit-racing engineering team, entered production at Togliatti in late February 2026 and reached dealers in March. They use a reworked 1.8-liter Evo petrol engine delivering 147 hp (up from the standard 122 hp) and 184 Nm, paired only with a six-speed manual. The sedan sprints to 100 km/h in 9.8 seconds and tops out at 195 km/h; the wagon needs 9.9 seconds and manages 192 km/h. Sport-specific hardware includes revised brakes, a firmer suspension, a wider track and a ride height dropped by 13 mm to 158 mm.

Despite the added equipment, pricing is unchanged: the Vesta Sport still starts at 2,352,000 rubles (2,392,000 for the Black version), while the SW Sport lists at 2,522,000 and 2,562,000 rubles respectively.
