Leapmotor has launched the B10 Ultra-Hybrid in Brazil as a single-version offering priced at R$179,990—R$3,000 below the electric B10. Its range-extender system drives the rear wheels with a 218-hp electric motor, while a 1.5-liter petrol engine works as a generator rather than powering the wheels mechanically.
A 18.8-kWh LFP battery provides an Inmetro-rated 68 km of electric driving. Once its charge reaches the system’s set minimum, the petrol generator can supply power; Leapmotor claims total range of up to 900 km. The SUV also offers three energy-management modes and a 50-liter fuel tank.
The B10 measures 4.53 metres long and has a 14.6-inch infotainment screen, Level 2 driver-assistance features and seven airbags as standard. The article notes that its 350-litre boot is relatively small, while the new version adds equipment such as ventilated, power-adjustable front seats and a powered tailgate.
