Regulatory filing details 2027 Zeekr 7X: 496 hp motor, new LFP supplier, 85 kWh version due in Q4

A homologation filing with China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has laid out the hardware for the 2027 Zeekr 7X. It pairs a rear-mounted 370 kW (496 hp) permanent-magnet motor, built by Quzhou Jidian, with an LFP pack from newly listed supplier Zhejiang Jiyao Tongxing Energy Technology. Zeekr has already committed to launching the 85 kWh Golden Brick version in the fourth quarter of 2026, but the filing omits capacity, range and curb weight.

The sheet metal is unchanged — 4,825 mm long on a 2,925 mm wheelbase — and peak output matches today's rear-wheel-drive car. What the model year adds is a fresh palette inside and out, optional four-piston front brake calipers, 19- to 21-inch wheels, a roof rack, a dual-tone roof and an ETC unit, all in five-seat form with a 240 km/h top speed.

The new pack will slot between the existing 75 kWh LFP version (620 km CLTC) and the 103 kWh ternary option (up to 802 km CLTC with a single motor). Efficiency, range and pricing for the 2027 car remain unpublished; the current 7X starts at 229,800 yuan and tops out at 269,800 yuan, and the nameplate has now passed 200,000 units of global production.

Demand is rebounding: the 7X moved 6,415 units in China in July, up 87.1% from June and 12.4% year on year after several slower months. Through September 30, a 5,000 yuan deposit unlocks a 10,000 yuan insurance subsidy plus financing and equipment perks.
