Vietnam's motorcycle market is heading into a busy stretch. VinFast dealers have started accepting deposits for two electric scooters, the Evo Grand Premia and the Evo Limited, and the company has confirmed the Grand Premia will go on sale within September.
Images shared by dealers show the Grand Premia stepping up in style over today's Evo, with a copper-brown and red finish, chrome trim and yellow highlights, plus a V emblem set against the red bodywork. The scooter keeps its familiar step-through layout but gains softer lines and a redesigned two-tier seat. Output, battery capacity, range and pricing for both new models remain undisclosed; for scale, the current Evo Grand retails at 22.5 million dong and the Evo at roughly 18.8-24.1 million dong, with the newcomers tipped to cost more.
On the petrol side, Honda Vietnam has booked September 18 for a new launch. Observers suspect an all-new generation of the SH Mode 125 — on sale since 2020 and refreshed in 2022 — though the company has yet to confirm this. The current four-trim lineup runs from 57.3 to 64 million dong. Honda has already updated the Super Cub C125 with fresh colors and a Euro 4-compliant engine, and says every petrol bike it introduces this year will meet that standard.
