Avatr unveiled its T09 concept at the 2026 Paris Motor Show, presenting a six-seat luxury SUV as the first model in a new flagship line. The Chinese brand says the concept previews a version intended for international markets; a production model is planned for 2026. Avatr positions it against vehicles such as the Mercedes-Benz GLS and BMW X7, with an estimated starting price of 500,000 yuan (about US$70,500 or SAR 264,375).

The T09 measures approximately 5.21 meters long and 2.01 meters wide. Its cabin has three rows of individual seats in a 2+2+2 layout. The dashboard display arrangement combines a 10.25-inch instrument screen with two 17.2-inch screens for the driver and front passenger. Avatr describes the design direction as “Respectful Luxury”; the Vision Xpectra design language was led by Nader Faghihzadeh.

Power comes from a range-extender hybrid system. A 2.0-liter twin-turbo gasoline engine produces 208 hp and serves as a generator, while three electric motors—rated at 241 hp, 302 hp and 302 hp—drive both axles. Avatr cites total system output above 1,000 hp and a top speed of 220 km/h. The CATL Freevoy battery has a 71.24-kWh capacity, with a stated electric-only range of 300–330 km on China’s CLTC test cycle. Avatr is jointly owned by Changan and CATL and works with Huawei on smart systems and digital technology.
