Chery Group sold 295,934 vehicles in October, up 5.25% from a year earlier, according to the Chinese automaker. Sales for the first 10 months of 2026 reached 2,502,723, a 9.34% year-on-year increase.
New-energy vehicles were a major contributor: October sales came to 140,893, up 27.7% year on year and marking the seventh consecutive month above 100,000. The group’s 10-month NEV total rose 43.2% to 999,417, already exceeding its full-year figure for 2025.
Exports reached 200,618 vehicles in October, 58.67% higher than a year earlier and about 68% of the group’s monthly sales. January-to-October exports totaled 1,751,766, up 64.8%. Chery also reported selling 292,000 vehicles in 24 European countries during the first three quarters, including more than 146,000 NEVs. It is considering production in Canada and plans to start sales there in 2027; its iCar brand is preparing a UK entry under the name iCaur, with V27 sales expected in early 2027.
Separately, Hong Kong-listed Chery Auto reported 282,458 sales across five brands in October. Its namesake Chery brand grew 18.19% to 200,571, while Jetour, Exeed, iCar and Luxeed recorded year-on-year declines. These figures use a different reporting basis from the group total.
