Jaecoo is promoting the J7 PHEV at paultan.org’s Auto Car Expo 2026, taking place at Setia City Convention Centre in Malaysia from October 31 to November 1. Customers who book the SUV at the event can receive a RM10,500 rebate, reducing its price to RM148,300. The offer also includes five years or 50,000 km of free maintenance and battery and engine warranties extended to 10 years or 1,000,000 km.
The J7 PHEV combines a 1.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine, an electric motor and an 18.3 kWh LFP battery. Jaecoo quotes total output of 279 PS, acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.5 seconds, an electric-only range of 88 km and a combined range of 1,200 km. DC charging is supported at up to 40 kW, with a 30-to-80% charge taking 20 minutes; the SUV also has vehicle-to-load capability.
ACE 2026 will feature a broad range of other automotive brands. The first 200 confirmed bookings across the event qualify for RM3,000 in vouchers, and every confirmed booking enters a prize draw with prizes valued at RM57,000 in total. These include a RM10,000 holiday package, window-tinting sets, smartphones and upholstery upgrades.
