Jetour has opened pre-sales in Colombia for the G700, its largest and most powerful SUV, represented locally by Autocom. The plug-in hybrid is offered in one configuration, with the first 100 units priced at COP 254.99 million; the subsequent list price is COP 295.99 million. The G700 joins the T1 and T2 in Jetour’s Colombian plug-in hybrid range and is positioned against models including the GWM Tank 500 and BYD Ti7, as well as conventional off-roaders such as the Ford Bronco, Jeep Wrangler and Toyota Land Cruiser Prado.
Its powertrain combines a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine producing 196 hp with two electric motors, one on each axle. Total output is 902 hp and 1,135 Nm, sent through a two-speed dedicated hybrid transmission and four-wheel drive. Jetour claims a 0–100 km/h time of 4.5 seconds. The 34.13-kWh CATL LFP battery is rated for 100 km of electric driving, while the stated combined range is 1,000 km under the WLTC cycle. The SUV has three differential locks and off-road modes for snow, sand, rocks and mud.
The G700 measures 5.20 metres long and weighs 3,063 kg. It seats six across three rows, with luggage capacity of 224 litres when all seats are in use, rising to 719 litres with the third row folded. Equipment includes a 35.4-inch instrument display, a 15.6-inch central touchscreen, a 17.3-inch rear entertainment screen, 10 airbags and driver-assistance systems. The article lists Colombia’s G700 as a plug-in hybrid rival to electrified and traditional off-road SUVs.
