Sazgar said the Canon Alpha is expected to arrive in Pakistan in the coming months, with competitive pricing. The company also displayed upcoming new-energy vehicles at PAPS 2026, alongside the Tank 300 and Jolion Max, as it considers additions to its local lineup.

The group reiterated plans to introduce BAIC’s ARCFOX brand, but has not decided whether its vehicles will be imported fully built or assembled locally. That choice, along with future launches and pricing, will depend in part on the coming auto policy and its treatment of different new-energy vehicle categories. Sazgar also expects policy support for plug-in hybrids to improve.

Sazgar is absorbing the impact of the current 18% GST rather than passing it on through higher prices while it waits for policy clarity. It has announced about Rs 22 billion in capital spending, including a new paint shop, with completion expected in roughly nine to 10 months. The plan includes around Rs 17 billion in debt financing and Rs 5 billion in equity.
