Xpeng has detailed Australian pricing and specifications for its 2027 L03 mid-size SUV, bringing the Chinese automaker’s first extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) to the market alongside three battery-electric versions. The EREV Power-X and rear-wheel-drive Standard Range EV each cost A$41,900 before on-road costs. The Long Range EV is A$46,900, while the all-wheel-drive Performance Ultra tops the range at A$53,900.

The EREV pairs a 1.5-litre petrol engine, used to generate electricity rather than drive the wheels, with a 37.2kWh LFP battery and a 178kW electric motor. Xpeng quotes a 215km WLTP electric range and 1,017km combined range. The EVs have claimed WLTP ranges of 445km, 520km and 440km respectively for the Standard Range, Long Range and Performance Ultra. The flagship’s dual motors produce 285kW and 451Nm, enabling a claimed 0–100km/h time of 4.5 seconds.

Cabin equipment includes a 15.6-inch infotainment display, a 26.8-inch head-up display, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and heated and ventilated front seats. Xpeng says its Navigation Guided Pilot and VLA 2.0 driver-assistance technology is planned for Australian cars through an over-the-air update in 2027; the Performance Ultra is expected to receive it first.

The L03 comes with a seven-year, unlimited-kilometre vehicle warranty, while the high-voltage battery is covered for eight years or 160,000km. It has not yet received an ANCAP crash rating. Service pricing has not been confirmed, and scheduled maintenance is due every 12 months or 20,000km.
