XPeng opened preorders in China on October 15, 2026, for the Mona L05, a new SUV available as a fully electric vehicle or with a range-extending gasoline engine. The model is scheduled to launch in China on October 29. The range-extender combines a 1.5-liter gasoline engine rated at 70 kW with a 245-hp electric motor and a 37.2-kWh battery. XPeng lists up to 310 km of electric-only driving and a total range of as much as 1,310 km, both under China’s test cycle.

The L05 measures 4,870 mm long, with a 2,940-mm wheelbase. Its cabin includes a 17.3-inch infotainment display and a 26.8-inch head-up display; cargo capacity is 702 liters, expanding to 1,913 liters. The suspension uses MacPherson struts at the front and a multi-link setup at the rear.
