Zeekr has opened a pop-up outlet at The Spring mall in Kuching, its first retail presence in East Malaysia. The store is operated by Ghee Hua Group, which signed a dealer agreement with the brand in Hangzhou in July. The opening included a drive-off event for Sarawak’s first Zeekr owners.
Zeekr said it had more than 5,000 customers across Malaysia as of August and noted interest from Sarawak even before it established an official presence there. The company plans to open a dedicated Zeekr Space showroom and a separate service centre in Kuching in the first quarter of 2027; mobile servicing is available in the region in the meantime.
