Zeekr plans to launch its 007 GT electric shooting brake in Australia in the fourth quarter of 2026. The model made its first public appearance in the country at the Sydney EV show and is marketed outside China as the Zeekr 7GT. The company has not disclosed Australian pricing, detailed specifications or a delivery schedule.

The planned move follows the model’s expansion across Europe. It went on sale in Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Norway and Sweden in January, and had reached 16 European countries by July, including France, Italy and Spain. Zeekr is a premium brand under Geely Auto.

First introduced in China in April 2025, the 007 GT is based on the Zeekr 007 sedan and is the brand’s second shooting brake after the 001. Updated versions of the 007 and 007 GT launched in China in April 2026 use a 900-volt electrical architecture and support charging rates of up to 6C. Zeekr has not said whether those upgrades will be included in the Australian model.

Zeekr says the 007 GT led global shooting-brake sales during the first eight months of 2026, citing China Passenger Car Association wholesale data. The company also reported more than 10,000 deliveries of its shooting-brake models in August and over 400,000 cumulatively across the lineup. Separately, Zeekr delivered 37,216 vehicles in September, a year-on-year increase of 103.85%, and 288,404 in the first nine months of the year.
