BYD launched the Da Han EV in China on October 13, 2026, adding a large electric sedan to its Han series. The model is offered in three versions, priced from 235,900 yuan (about US$35,200) to 275,900 yuan (about US$41,200). The two rear-wheel-drive trims are rated for 1,008 km of CLTC range, while the all-wheel-drive version is rated at 880 km. BYD lists the corresponding WLTP figures as 816 km and 713 km.
All versions use a 102.3 kWh second-generation Blade Battery and come with the God’s Eye 5.0 driver-assistance system. The rear-wheel-drive car has a 370 kW motor and reaches 100 km/h from rest in 4.9 seconds. The dual-motor AWD version produces 570 kW and completes the same run in 3.3 seconds. BYD says its flash-charging system can raise battery charge from 10% to 97% in nine minutes.
The 5,256 mm-long sedan has a 3,130 mm wheelbase, rear-wheel steering and a stated drag coefficient of 0.197. Its equipment includes DiSus-A dual-chamber air suspension, a 40-inch augmented-reality head-up display, a 31-speaker Devialet audio system and heated, ventilated and massage-equipped seats in both rows.
The launch prices are below the earlier pre-sale prices by 14,000 to 24,000 yuan, depending on trim. BYD also specifies road-preview capability for the suspension and a crab-walk mode.
