Changan says its Nevo brand will enter Europe, beginning in Spain in early 2027. The Q05 electric SUV is expected to be the first Nevo model on sale there, with other European markets to follow. The company outlined the plan at the Paris motor show, where it also displayed the Q05, the larger Q06 SUV and the A06 sedan.

Changan says the Q05 has been China’s best-selling compact SUV for the past six months. In right-hand-drive Thailand, it is offered with a 120kW front motor, 190Nm of torque and a 51.9kWh LFP battery; its stated range is 462km on the NEDC test cycle. Those figures relate to the export-market version and do not establish European specifications.

The A06 and Q06 will be available as battery-electric or range-extended hybrids. In China, the Q06 also has a dual-motor all-wheel-drive option. Changan lists CLTC ranges of up to 620km for the A06 with a 62kWh battery and up to 700km for the Q06 with an 80kWh battery. Both use LFP batteries and are built on the company’s SDA electrified architecture.

Changan Europe executive deputy general manager Ethan Yin said the company aims to establish a European factory with capacity for 180,000 vehicles by the end of 2028 and 350,000 by 2030. Nevo is also being considered for Australia, where it would be distributed through factory-backed Changan operations if introduced. No local decision has been announced; Deepal is currently sold there through independent importer Inchcape.
