Chery’s robotics arm AiMOGA Robotics is set to launch Mobo, a humanoid robot designed to accompany families, and open global preorders on October 21 in Wuhu, Anhui, China. The move adds a home-focused product to AiMOGA’s existing work on robots for sales reception, traffic management and medical-service guidance.
Mobo is designed to support conversation and everyday routines for family members of different ages. Its features include voice interaction, visual object recognition, schedule reminders and long-term memory, allowing it to discuss nearby objects, remind users about planned activities and refer back to earlier conversations. AiMOGA’s in-house MoAgent technology links perception, interaction and task execution to help the robot interpret requests and plan actions.
The company says Mobo draws on Chery Group’s global R&D network. AiMOGA has established 31 internal R&D laboratories focused on areas including motion control and intelligent perception. Chery’s 2026 International User Summit is being held under the theme “Car-Robot in Synergy, Scenarios in Energy,” highlighting the company’s effort to connect automotive technologies such as intelligent cockpits and driving systems with robots’ movement control and decision-making capabilities.
