Chery has launched the long-range iCar V27 in China, with two versions priced at 189,800 yuan ($28,300) and 203,800 yuan ($30,400). The extended-range SUV uses a 1.5-liter engine to generate electricity and a dual-motor setup delivering a combined 335 kW. Its 51.2-kWh CATL LFP battery is rated for 300 km of electric driving on the CLTC cycle.

The V27 measures 5,055 mm long and has a 2,910-mm wheelbase. It features 220 mm of minimum ground clearance and a stated wading depth of 600 mm, along with magnetorheological suspension. The article also notes that existing rear- and all-wheel-drive trims have shorter CLTC electric-range ratings of 210 km and 200 km, respectively.

Cabin equipment includes a 15.4-inch central display, an 8.88-inch instrument screen and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8295P processor. Driver-assistance hardware includes a Horizon Robotics Journey 6P chip and lidar; the V27 is identified as the first model to use Horizon’s HSD V2.1 system.
