Chery’s premium new-energy brand LEPAS is preparing to enter Chile, with commercial sales planned for the first half of 2027. The company is also targeting Colombia, Panama and the Dominican Republic. Before those launches, it is taking part in the Eco-Conference 2026 in China, running from October 18 to 24, where it will present a new concept car and showcase electric-mobility technology.

The concept’s world debut will preview the design direction for future LEPAS vehicles. Its styling draws on the brand’s Next-Generation Leopard Aesthetics theme, with the company describing its broader design approach through three pillars: Leopard Aesthetics, Elegant Technology and Exquisite Space. The concept is also intended to show how technology and practical features could shape the occupants’ experience.

Driving demonstrations will feature the LEPAS L6 EV on urban roads, intercity highways and winding mountain routes. International media and users will be able to assess its handling, ride comfort, range and intelligent systems in varied conditions. The program also includes dynamic testing of the L4, L6 and L8, alongside demonstrations of Automated Parking Assist and Remote Parking Assist. Super Intelligent Valet Parking will be shown on the L8, where that feature is available in certain markets.

LEPAS has not yet confirmed which models it will offer in Chile. The China event is part of the brand’s international expansion effort and is intended to give a preview of the design and technologies it is developing for overseas markets.
