Avatr has begun operations in Colombia with two premium electrified SUVs, distributed under Grupo Vardí. The brand is backed primarily by Changan, with CATL as another shareholder and Huawei as a technology partner. Its vehicles are built in Chongqing, China, while its design center is in Munich. The initial lineup comprises the range-extender Avatr 07 and the battery-electric Avatr 11.
The Avatr 07 is offered with rear- or all-wheel drive. Its two versions produce 309.7 hp and 494.7 hp, respectively, and use a 39.05-kWh CATL LFP battery. Under the NEDC cycle, the rear-drive version is listed at 207 km of electric range and 932 km combined; the AWD version is rated at 197 km electric and 900 km combined. Prices are COP 199.99 million for the RWD and COP 224.99 million for the AWD.
The Avatr 11 has all-wheel drive, two motors producing 569.9 hp and 650 Nm, and a 116.76-kWh CATL NCM battery. It is rated for up to 625 km of NEDC range and can charge at up to 240 kW. Colombia pricing starts at COP 254.99 million. Both models feature digital displays in place of conventional mirrors, driver-assistance systems and autonomous parking.
Avatr’s first showrooms are in Bogotá’s Bella Suiza district and on Avenida Las Vegas in Medellín. The vehicles come with a five-year or 160,000-km general warranty, while high-voltage components are covered for eight years or 160,000 km, subject to the brand’s terms.
