Chery held its Jetour Global Technology Experience Day in Wuhu, Anhui, China, beginning on October 20. More than 2,000 guests attended to see the group’s latest technologies and models, as well as its vision for future mobility. The program included presentations, displays and practical demonstrations.

The technologies on show covered computing and data platforms, vehicle-to-grid (V2G) power, links between solar generation, energy storage and charging, artificial intelligence, Robotaxi services and robotics developed by AiMOGA Robotics. Chery said it expects to bring new technologies to products from its brands in China and Brazil, but did not identify specific features or models for an introduction.

Jetour’s T series is positioned for both urban driving and off-road use. Its stated features include the C-DM Super Hybrid system, intelligent XWD all-wheel drive, and “7+X” off-road driving modes. The G series is based on the GAIA architecture, which combines a high-efficiency hybrid system with an off-road-focused chassis, smart interaction functions and a premium cabin. Chery chairman Yin Tongyue and chief technology officer Gao Xinhua also discussed the company’s innovation history and the role of AI in the automotive industry.
