Geely introduced the Monjaro EM-i at the 2026 Paris Motor Show, marking the SUV’s European debut and a key addition to the Chinese automaker’s electrified lineup. The D-segment model uses the EM-i Super Hybrid system paired with a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine. In AWD Ultra trim, Geely lists output of 246 kW (about 330 hp) and peak torque of 667 Nm.
The Monjaro EM-i is rated for up to 116 km of electric-only travel on the WLTP cycle, with combined fuel consumption stated at 2.4 liters per 100 km. Geely says rapid charging can raise battery charge from 30% to 80% in about 15 minutes. The SUV’s cargo space can reach 2,183 liters, depending on seat configuration.
Cabin equipment includes a 25.6-inch head-up display, a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel and a 15.4-inch central screen running Flyme Auto. Other listed features include 11-layer massage seats, a 16-speaker Flyme Sound system and 17 advanced driver-assistance systems. Geely also cites a reinforced high-strength chassis.
The Paris display included the E2 and E5, sold in Chile as the EX2 and EX5, as well as the Starray EM-i, known there as the EX5 EM-i, and the Project KO11 off-roader. Geely said its European approach is focused on expanding electrified offerings in the region. The company has not announced plans to bring the Monjaro EM-i to Chile. It also reported that the E2 earned five stars in Euro NCAP’s 2026 tests and has surpassed 950,000 sales worldwide.
