Geely says it has produced one million EX2 electric hatchbacks worldwide, roughly two years after the model entered production. The millionth car left the production line on October 20, 2026. Output climbed from 200,000 units in May 2025 to 800,000 in August 2026, before reaching the seven-figure mark.
In Chile, the EX2 is offered in Pro and Max trims. Both use a rear-mounted electric motor rated at 114 hp and 150 Nm, paired with a 39.4-kWh battery. Geely claims a range of up to 395 km per charge. The reported Chilean list prices are 18,490,000 pesos for the Pro and 20,490,000 pesos for the Max. Equipment includes connectivity and comfort features, along with advanced driver-assistance systems.
In China, the car is sold as the Geely Xingyuan. It recorded 465,775 sales and was described as the country’s best-selling urban electric car, ahead of the BYD Seagull, known in Chile as the BYD Dolphin Mini.
Production takes place in China and Indonesia, with Brazilian manufacturing due to begin in December at the Ayrton Senna industrial complex. Geely also plans to build the EX2 at a Spanish plant it will share with Ford. The model forms part of the company’s wider electrification effort as Geely targets more than 6.5 million global vehicle sales by 2030.
