Geely Auto’s EX2 has surpassed one million cumulative sales worldwide, reaching the milestone in early October 2026, two years after its launch. The model is sold as the E2 in some international markets. Geely reported 71,337 sales in October alone, an average pace of roughly one car per minute.
The EX2’s sales rose quickly after its debut on October 9, 2024: it passed 10,000 units in 16 days and 200,000 within about 200 days. The total reached 600,000 on day 536 and 800,000 in July 2026. In Spain, where the E2 arrived around two months before the article’s publication, it had recorded 1,122 registrations, including 699 in the previous month.
In 2025, the model sold 465,775 units. Citing IHS Markit, the report says it was the world’s best-selling car in the A and B segments that year and China’s top-selling car across all categories. It is now available in more than 30 markets across Europe, Latin America, Asia-Pacific, Africa and the Middle East.
Geely presents the EX2 as an urban car focused on space, safety and maneuverability. In September 2026, it received five-star ratings under the 2026 protocols of both Euro NCAP and ANCAP. The report also highlights its reinforced body structure, seven airbags, Geely Battery Safety System, rear-wheel drive, multi-link rear suspension and 4.95-meter turning radius.
