Geely introduced the KO11, a large plug-in hybrid off-roader, at the Paris Motor Show, marking its first appearance in Europe. KO11 is a working name; the company has not yet confirmed the model’s final commercial name. European sales are planned for late 2027, with the vehicle positioned above the EX5 in Geely’s expanding export lineup.
The SUV measures 5,075 mm long, including its externally mounted spare wheel, 2,010 mm wide and 1,915 mm tall, with a 2,880 mm wheelbase. It rides on 20-inch wheels. Inside, a 15.4-inch central display runs Flyme Auto, which includes voice control. Geely has not disclosed luggage capacity or the available cargo layouts.
Its plug-in hybrid setup combines a 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine with three electric motors: a 200 kW unit at the front and two 180 kW units at the rear. The stated 560 kW, or 761 hp, is the sum of the electric motors’ individual ratings, not a confirmed total system output. The battery is rated at up to 47 kWh, and the transmission is a 3DHT200 system.
Four-wheel drive, two differential locks, air suspension and terrain-focused driving modes support its off-road brief. Geely lists a maximum towing capacity of 2,500 kg. Electric range, hybrid-system performance and pricing have not yet been announced, leaving key details for assessing it against established large off-roaders such as the Land Rover Defender and Toyota Land Cruiser unresolved.
