GWM has launched the H7 in Mexico as part of the brand’s third-anniversary activities in the country. The mid-size SUV is available immediately in two electrified versions: the Luxury HEV hybrid and Luxury PHEV plug-in hybrid. Both use GWM’s Hi4 intelligent all-wheel-drive system. A company executive said the H7 is GWM’s final launch in Mexico for 2026, with more products planned for the first half of 2027.

The PHEV combines 359 hp with a 0–100 km/h time of 5.2 seconds. It can travel up to 135 km on electric power under the NEDC test cycle and has a stated total range of up to 962 km. The HEV produces 244 hp, reaches 100 km/h in 7.0 seconds and is rated for up to 946 km of range. Both versions have a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine, a four-speed DHT transmission and 560 lb-ft of combined torque. The system offers seven drive modes.

Equipment includes six airbags, up to 15 ADAS features, a 15.6-inch center display, a 12.3-inch instrument panel, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a 360-degree camera. The PHEV also supports vehicle-to-load power. Prices are MXN 779,900 for the HEV and MXN 859,900 for the PHEV. GWM is offering a MXN 25,000 launch bonus and a seven-year warranty with no mileage limit.
