GWM will showcase its Tank 300 off-road SUV in both petrol and hybrid forms at the paultan.org Auto Car Expo (ACE) 2026 in Malaysia. The event runs from October 31 to November 1 at the Setia City Convention Centre. The petrol model uses a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 220 PS and 380 Nm, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and part-time four-wheel drive.

The Tank 300 HEV combines a 2.0-litre turbo engine rated at 245 PS and 380 Nm with a 106 PS electric motor and a 1.67-kWh ternary lithium battery. Its nine-speed hybrid automatic transmission helps deliver a combined output of 346 PS and 648 Nm.

GWM says the SUV comes with a lifetime warranty covering its engine and transmission. Buyers are also offered five years of maintenance, including labour and parts, plus a complimentary TnG RFID. ACE attendees can view the vehicle at the GWM stand; the expo will also host numerous other automotive brands.

Across the event, the first 200 confirmed bookings are eligible for RM3,000 in vouchers, and each confirmed booking enters a lucky draw with prizes valued at RM57,000 in total. The article describes the Tank 300 as an exhibit and promotion at ACE, rather than announcing a new model launch.
