Jetour has put the T2 i-DM plug-in hybrid on sale in Malaysia at RM162,800 nett, completing a T2 line-up that already spans the RM156,800 petrol version and the quickly sold-out Dark Warrior Limited Edition. Previewed and opened for booking at KLIMS 2026 in June, the PHEV had already drawn 2,137 orders by launch day.

The mechanicals diverge sharply from the petrol car. A 1.5-litre turbocharged engine works with two electric motors and a three-speed dedicated hybrid transmission for a combined 360 PS and 610 Nm — a hefty step up from the 2.0T's 245 PS — but the hybrid drops the XWD all-wheel-drive setup and sends power to the front wheels only. An 18.4 kWh BYD Blade LFP battery promises more than 100 km of electric driving, and with a 70-litre tank aboard, Jetour claims up to 1,200 km overall. DC charging peaks at 57 kW, restoring 30–80% in 27 minutes.

Cabin kit carries over largely unchanged — a 15.6-inch infotainment screen, 12-speaker Sony audio and a full Level 2 driver-assist suite among it — with the PHEV adding touches like an illuminated crystal shifter. The first 2,000 registered units qualify for up to RM3,000 in launch perks, choosing between a free 7 kW wallbox or RM2,000 of charging credit plus a V2L cable, while warranties run to 10 years or 1,000,000 km for the engine.
