Chery-owned Jetour has launched an updated version of the Zongheng G700 in China. The body-on-frame SUV has revised bumpers, grille and wheel designs, while its overall dimensions remain unchanged; ground clearance is now listed at 220 mm, down from 230 mm. It retains a five- or six-seat cabin and offers a 35.4-inch dashboard display alongside a 15.6-inch infotainment screen.
The G700 remains an all-wheel-drive plug-in hybrid, combining a 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine with two electric motors for a total system output of 904 hp and 1,135 Nm. Lower trims keep the 34.13-kWh battery and a claimed 150 km of electric range on the CLTC cycle. The two upper versions adopt a 59.45-kWh pack, raising claimed electric range to 260 km.
Higher-spec models also receive Huawei’s ADS 5 driver-assistance system with a 892-line lidar. The updated SUV is priced at 329,900 to 442,900 yuan in China before discounts. Pneumatic suspension is now limited to the range-topping trim.
