Leapmotor presented the B03 electric hatchback at the Paris Motor Show, introducing a compact model aimed at European rivals such as the Volkswagen ID. Polo and Renault 5. In Mexico, it would compete with the BYD Dolphin Mini, Geely EX2 and Chevrolet Spark EUV. The brand is backed by Stellantis, a factor the report says could support its expansion in Western markets.

The European-spec B03 pairs a 53-kWh battery with a single electric motor producing 143 kW, or 192 hp. Leapmotor quotes a 0–100 km/h time of 7.6 seconds and a range of up to 390 km on the WLTP cycle. Fast charging from 10% to 80% is said to take 21 minutes.

Despite its subcompact hatchback footprint, the B03 is reported to offer 888 mm of rear-seat legroom, more than 30 storage spaces and modular LeapFlex seats. Listed cabin equipment includes a 14.6-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an 8.8-inch instrument display, climate control, a heated steering wheel, driver-assistance systems and over-the-air updates.

European sales are expected to start in 2027, with an estimated base price of €25,000, equivalent in the report to about 514,000 Mexican pesos. Leapmotor is still assessing a Mexican launch, so availability there is not confirmed. If it arrives, the B03 could sit below the B10, which the article identifies as the brand’s only model on sale in Mexico at the time.
