Chinese automaker Leapmotor presented the B03 at the 2026 Paris Motor Show, marking the model’s first appearance in Europe. The company plans to begin European sales in 2027, positioning it against the Volkswagen ID. Polo and Renault 5. In China, the car is known as the A05, where prices start at 63,900 yuan (about $9,400). Leapmotor has not confirmed European pricing; the expected starting figure is around €25,000, or $28,000.

The B03 has a single front-mounted electric motor producing 191 hp. Leapmotor quotes a 0–100 km/h time of 7.6 seconds. Its 53-kWh battery is rated for up to 389 km under the WLTP test cycle, and supports 133-kW fast charging, taking the charge from 10% to 80% in 21 minutes. Unlike the Chinese-market version, the European model does not include lidar for driver-assistance systems.

Inside, equipment includes a 14.6-inch central touchscreen, an 8.8-inch digital instrument display and Leap OS 4.0 Plus, with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The feature list also includes 21 driver-assistance systems, heated seats and steering wheel, a heat pump and vehicle-to-load power for external devices. Rear-seat flexibility and a waterproof storage compartment beneath the boot floor are among the practical touches.

Leapmotor also showed its six- or seven-seat D19 SUV in Paris. Separately, the company said production of its electric B10 had officially begun at a plant in Zaragoza, Spain, in cooperation with Stellantis.
