Leapmotor announced at the 2026 Paris Motor Show that production of its B10 compact SUV has begun at the Zaragoza plant in Spain. The site, developed with Stellantis, will use the group’s manufacturing infrastructure to build vehicles for European customers. The show also hosted the European debut of the A05, known internationally as the B03, presented by Leapmotor founder Zhu Jiangming and Leapmotor International CEO Danilo Annese.
The production start advances Leapmotor’s effort to localize manufacturing in Europe. Its earlier attempt involved the T03, assembled at Stellantis’ Polish plant from 2024 until the project ended on March 30, 2025. The B10 first went on sale in China in April 2025 and appeared in Europe at IAA Mobility that September. An updated China-market version went on sale in July, priced from 99,800 yuan ($14,830).
In China, the A05 launched on August 11. It is 4,200 mm long, with a 2,605 mm wheelbase, and offers 39.8-kWh or 53-kWh batteries for CLTC-rated ranges of 405 km and 510 km. A Qualcomm 8295 chip is standard. Leapmotor has not provided European launch timing or prices. The D19 flagship SUV was also shown in Paris, featuring range-extender technology and cell-to-body construction.
The exhibition was Leapmotor’s largest in Europe so far, with a 500-square-meter stand. The company also said its owners can use Stellantis’ Free2move Charge network, which includes more than one million public charging points across Europe. Leapmotor delivered 666,539 vehicles in the first nine months of 2026, and is targeting one million deliveries for the full year.
