LEPAS is holding its first Global Elegant Lifestyle Week in China from October 18 to 24, 2026, bringing more than 300 participants together to experience its L4, L6 and L8 vehicles. The Chery Auto brand says it plans to enter Chile in the first half of 2027, alongside Colombia, Panama and the Dominican Republic; it has not yet named the models intended for the Chilean market.
The main drive event for the all-electric L6 EV starts on October 19. In a two-day, one-night route between Shanghai and Wuhu, 34 ambassadors from 15 countries will encounter urban streets, highways, lakeside roads and mountain routes. The evaluations include handling, stability, powertrain response and ride comfort, as well as the L6 EV’s range, charging performance and advanced driver-assistance systems. The model launched in Thailand in July 2026.
The program also includes parking demonstrations. LEPAS will use the L8 plug-in hybrid to showcase Automatic Parking Assist, Remote Parking Assist and Super Intelligent Valet Parking, with participants assessing the systems in different situations.
As part of the Chery International User Summit 2026, guests will visit LEPAS manufacturing facilities and attend a global event featuring the world premiere of a new concept vehicle. The company also plans to introduce an updated version of its Leopard Aesthetics design language. Representatives from markets including the UK, Thailand, Brazil, Indonesia and South Africa are taking part in the vehicle evaluations.
