Lynk & Co is scheduled to enter Brazil in 2027, with the Renault-Geely joint venture taking charge of the launch. Its first vehicle is expected to be the 08, a plug-in hybrid SUV already undergoing tests in the country. The venture is also preparing to take over governance of Zeekr’s Brazilian operation, bringing the two Geely brands under a shared local structure.
The 08’s entry-level version has 349 hp and front-wheel drive, while a higher-output all-wheel-drive version is listed at 544 hp. Its 39.6 kWh battery is associated with a claimed electric range of 200 km and a combined range of 1,100 km. The SUV measures 4.82 meters long and has a 2.84-meter wheelbase; cabin features cited include a 15.4-inch central display and a 23-speaker audio system.
A second model being considered is the all-electric Z20 compact SUV, which is already being tested and registered in Brazil. Known as the 02 in Europe, it is based on Geely’s SEA2 architecture and uses a 61.5 kWh battery. Renault-Geely may eventually use its São José dos Pinhais complex in Paraná to assemble Lynk & Co vehicles, but local production remains a possibility rather than a confirmed plan. The company is also studying whether to bring Smart and Polestar to Brazil.
