Li Auto has introduced the updated 2026 i6 in China, lowering its starting price while increasing the electric SUV’s claimed range. The list price is 249,800 yuan, with a limited-time promotional price of 239,800 yuan. That is 10,000 yuan below the previous version’s price, despite the added updates.
The i6 now uses Li Auto’s own 96-kWh Lianshan battery in place of the earlier CATL pack, and supports 5C fast charging. CLTC-rated range is 780 km for the rear-wheel-drive model, up from 720 km, and 710 km for the all-wheel-drive version. Buyers can choose a single 335-hp motor or a dual-motor setup combining a 201-hp front motor with a 335-hp rear motor. The figures are test-cycle ratings, not guaranteed real-world distances.
Cabin and technology updates include front seats with a zero-gravity position, a power-operated front trunk, a 29-inch 6K front display, a 21-inch 4K rear entertainment screen and a refrigerator capable of cooling to -6°C. Qualcomm’s 8797 chip runs cabin systems, while Li Auto’s Mach M100 chip supports driver-assistance functions. The i6 retains its existing overall length, width and wheelbase—4.95 m, 1.935 m and 3 m respectively—while its height falls slightly to 1.655 m. A paid power-trunk upgrade for existing owners is planned, with details expected in December.
