Li Auto said cumulative production of its i6 electric SUV reached 200,000 units on October 30, 2026. The milestone came about 13 months after the five-seat model first went on sale in September 2025. Deliveries of the 2026 version began across China on October 29, with vehicles prepared in advance as the company steps up production. Orders currently carry an estimated wait of seven to eight weeks, and Li Auto says customers ordering now can receive their cars before year-end.

The company’s production plan calls for i6 capacity to reach 20,000 units in November, with a further increase in December. The ramp-up follows a softer delivery month: the i6 recorded 7,379 deliveries in September, 56.54% fewer than in August. It delivered 160,221 units in the first nine months of 2026, bringing cumulative deliveries since launch to 189,192 by September’s end. The 200,000 figure is production, not deliveries.

Launched on October 28, the 2026 i6 retains a starting price of 249,800 yuan (about $37,210). Introductory offers available through November 30 reduce that to 239,800 yuan. Standard equipment now includes Li Auto’s Mach M100 driver-assistance chip and a 96-kWh Lianshan 5C lithium iron phosphate battery; the rear-wheel-drive version is rated for 780 km of CLTC range. In Europe, the model will be called Li 6 and is scheduled to go on sale and begin deliveries in Norway and the Netherlands in Q1 2027.
