Xiaomi says its first extended-range electric vehicle, the Skynomad SUV, received 70,000 orders in China between Sept. 7 and Oct. 7, 2026. Sales and customer deliveries began last month. Xiaomi founder and CEO Lei Jun said the company delivered 40,000 vehicles in September, including 10,000 Skynomads.

The SUV is offered in four versions: N90 Max, N90 Max Explorer Edition, N70 Pro and N70 Max. The N70 measures 4,960 mm long with a 2,950 mm wheelbase; the larger N90 Max is 5,285 mm long and has a 3,080 mm wheelbase. All versions use a 1.5-liter turbo gasoline engine as a generator, while electric motors drive the wheels.

The N70 Pro has a front motor rated at 210 kW and a 52-kWh LFP battery. The other trims use all-wheel drive with two motors producing a combined 310 kW and a 76-kWh LFP battery. CLTC electric ranges are 351 km for the N70 Pro, 505 km for the N70 Max and about 462–464 km for the N90 versions. Xiaomi quotes a combined range of up to 1,705 km with a full battery and fuel tank. Prices in China start at 209,900 yuan and reach 299,900 yuan. Xiaomi has set a 2026 sales target of 550,000 vehicles, though the report notes it may be difficult to consistently reach 40,000 monthly deliveries.
