Zeekr has started bulk shipments of its 9X luxury hybrid SUV to the United Arab Emirates, with the vehicles loading out from the Jiangyin port area of Fuzhou Port. The Geely-owned premium brand confirmed the milestone on Weibo on Tuesday, though it kept the size of the consignment undisclosed.
In the UAE, the flagship is offered in three trims — Ultra, Hyper and Obsidian — spanning 369,900 dirhams (about $100,720) to 439,900 dirhams. Zeekr's local website says customers placing new orders will receive their cars from December 2026. The UAE consignment follows the official start of exports in August and fits an overseas timetable Geely Auto Group CEO Jerry Gan outlined in April, which called for a Middle East debut around mid-year, Central Asia in the third quarter and Europe by year-end.
The export push comes at a moment when the 9X needs fresh momentum. After peaking at 10,191 units in March, monthly deliveries slid for four straight months before a modest rebound to 4,108 in August. The model has accumulated 76,949 sales since its September 2025 debut in China, where it became Zeekr's first vehicle powered by something other than batteries alone.
Zeekr's wider business is in strong shape — August group deliveries hit a record 36,981, the fifth consecutive monthly high — and the UAE is already familiar territory, with the 001 and X on sale there since March 2024. The 9X now tops that lineup.
