Aion unveiled the UT Cross at the Paris Motor Show on October 12, 2026, adding a more rugged variant to its electric hatchback range. The model was developed with input from GAC’s Milan Design Center and features matte-black body cladding, roof rails, silver trim on the front lower bumper and a white roof pillar that contrasts with the body color.
The UT Cross has new wheels and 225 mm-wide tires, along with suspension retuned for European roads. Its ride height is 20 mm greater than that of the standard UT; ground clearance is listed at 147 mm under full load. The car remains an EV, but output and other powertrain details have not been announced. A Magazine battery is specified, with a claimed 30-to-80% fast-charge time of 24 minutes and a WLTP range of up to 400 km.
Inside, the cabin broadly follows the standard model, with black trim, gray fabric and white-and-orange accents. Cargo capacity is 440 liters, the rear seats fold flat, and 24 storage spaces are distributed around the cabin. Safety equipment includes seven airbags, including a 2.1-meter-long curtain airbag; high-tensile steel makes up 71% of the body structure. Aion has said it plans to offer eight models in the UK by 2030. Further UT Cross details are expected from GAC.
