Power goes through a nine-speed automatic transmission. GWM lists both two- and four-wheel-drive configurations, and a fuel economy figure of 14 km/l under Thailand’s Eco Sticker test standard.

The Ultra 4WD adds selectable 2H, 4H and 4L modes, six terrain settings, a rear electronic differential lock and an off-road cruise function. The announced ownership package also includes a five-year/150,000-km vehicle warranty, an eight-year/1,000,000-km engine warranty, five years of roadside assistance and one year of first-class insurance.
