GAC unveiled the AION UT Cross at the 2026 Paris Motor Show, presenting a crossover-styled version of its UT electric hatchback for European buyers. The model is scheduled to reach European markets in 2027 and was developed at GAC’s Milan Design Center.
The Cross sits 20 mm higher than the standard UT and adds black wheel-arch cladding, lower-body protection, roof rails, wider 225 mm tyres and a distinct alloy-wheel design. It retains the UT’s 2,750 mm wheelbase and offers 440 litres of luggage space. The cabin also has 24 storage compartments, according to GAC.
European specifications include a 204 PS front motor and a 60 kWh battery, with a claimed range of up to 400 km on the WLTP cycle. Charging from 30% to 80% takes about 24 minutes in suitable conditions. By comparison, the UT sold in Pakistan through Lucky Motor Corporation has a 44.12 kWh LFP battery, a 134 hp motor and a claimed 335 km WLTP range; its ex-factory price is Rs. 6,399,000.
GAC also showed the AION UT and AION V in Paris, and debuted the GS7, which is planned with hybrid and plug-in hybrid powertrains. The company says the UT and V are now produced in Europe and that it has sales and service coverage in 30 European countries. Neither GAC nor Lucky Motor has announced a Pakistan launch or price for the UT Cross.
