Aito plans to begin selling vehicles in Europe in autumn 2027, the Chinese brand announced at the Paris Motor Show on October 12, 2026. It has started the EU Whole Vehicle Type Approval process as part of its preparations. Aito did not disclose which European countries it will enter first, which vehicles it will offer or how they will be priced.

Four SUVs appeared at the show under international names: the Aito 6, 7, 8 and 9. The Aito 9 is sold in China as the M9, while the Aito 6 is the M6. Their display in Paris does not confirm that all four will be part of the European launch lineup. Aito says it is adapting powertrains, chassis, driver-assistance and parking functions for European conditions, and will offer multilingual cabin software. The company is targeting a five-star rating under the 2026 Euro NCAP assessment.

The planned rollout is to include local parts supply, customer-service teams, diagnostics and mobility services. Aito reported cumulative deliveries of 1.2 million vehicles from its 2021 launch through October 2026. It sold 420,000 vehicles in 2025 and has set a target of one million annual sales by 2030. Its fleet has logged more than 40 billion kilometres, 71% of them using electric power.

Aito is jointly developed by Huawei and Seres. The European push follows an agreement with a UAE dealer group covering sales and after-sales support. Seres has also sold vehicles in Europe under its own name. Aito’s use of Huawei’s assisted-driving and cockpit systems may require adjustments for European localisation.
