A short drive in Brazil found interior space to be the Arcfox T1’s strongest asset. The electric hatch has a 2,770-mm wheelbase—204 mm longer than a Volkswagen Polo’s—and the reviewer found the rear seats especially spacious for a compact five-seat car. BAIC lists 459 liters of luggage capacity, though that figure was not measured to the VDA standard. An electric tailgate is fitted, and the car is expected to gain a spare tire; the reviewer noted that the luggage-compartment cover still lacks a pull cord.

The T1 is priced from R$129,990 to R$139,900. Its cabin materials were judged appropriate for the price, and the front seats offered comfortable support. However, physical controls have been removed for functions including climate settings, mirror adjustment and the panoramic roof, while Android Auto is not provided natively.

The initial evaluation covered 14 km, split between Comfort and Sport modes, whose different calibrations were readily apparent. The electric motor produces 95 hp and 17.8 kgf·m of torque; the claimed 0–100 km/h time is 12.4 seconds. The onboard computer recorded consumption of 10.7 kWh per 100 km. Driver-assistance systems were positively assessed, including lane centering, while the steering could offer more feedback in corners. A low-speed feature that reduces the turning circle was noted as useful for maneuvering.

The T1 marks the start of BAIC’s Brazilian plans, which include an initial network of 50 dealerships, a goal of tripling that number in 2027 and a factory in Brazil under consideration.
