Avatr’s 07 has arrived officially in Russia, where Kolesa.ru tested the range-extended crossover on a round trip of more than 1,000 km between Moscow and Veliky Novgorod. First shown in 2024, it is the brand’s third model and its first hybrid, following the Avatr 11 and 12. The 07 measures 4,825 mm long and has a 2,940 mm wheelbase; the review found ample room for rear passengers, along with powered seat and roof-shade controls in the rear armrest.
The 07 is a series plug-in hybrid: a 1.5-liter, four-cylinder petrol engine acts as a generator, while electric motors drive the wheels. Avatr quotes combined ranges of 932 km for the rear-drive version and 900 km for all-wheel drive, including electric-only distances of 207 km and 197 km respectively. The CATL lithium iron phosphate battery holds 39.05 kWh, and the fuel tank holds 45 liters. On the test route, with four people aboard, consumption at 90–110 km/h was about 7.5–8.5 liters per 100 km, alongside electricity use of 23–25 kWh.
The motors produce a combined 502 hp and 595 Nm, according to the brand. Buyers receive an 11 kW home charging station, while the vehicle itself supports up to 120 kW DC and 6.6 kW AC charging. The review praised the lane-change assistance and found the driver aids useful on long journeys, but said the electronic mirrors made it harder to judge distance. It also noted that the adaptive air suspension’s settings felt little different on smooth roads, and that the car has no rear wiper.
Russian prices start at 6.6 million rubles for the rear-wheel-drive 07_1, with conventional mirrors and 20-inch wheels. The all-wheel-drive 07_3.1 costs 6.9 million rubles, while the 07_3.2 is priced at 7 million rubles; both add 21-inch wheels, leather trim and air suspension. Electronic mirrors distinguish the top trim from the middle one.
