Argentina’s October 2026 ranking of the ten least expensive new cars is led by the JMEV Easy 3, listed at 26,026,000 pesos. The small Chinese car, which measures 3.7 metres long, took the top spot after being displayed at Expo Auto Chino in Buenos Aires. The event also saw visitors write messages on its bodywork. JMEV is represented locally by Grupo Antelo.

The rest of the list, based on official prices for each model’s entry-level trim, is Hyundai HB20 at 28,500,000 pesos; Renault Kwid at 28,580,000; Volkswagen Polo Robust at 30,222,550; Fiat Mobi at 30,280,000; JAC S2 at 32,186,000; Chevrolet Onix at 32,782,900; Kaiyi X3 at 33,880,000; Fiat Fiorino at 34,510,000; and Fiat Argo at 35,470,000. JAC and Kaiyi join JMEV as Chinese brands in the top ten.

Most October price lists rose by 2% to 5%, with the article citing September’s modest dollar increase and ongoing inflation as contributing factors. No locally manufactured model appears in the ranking. The article notes that the Peugeot 208 starts at 36,360,000 pesos and the Fiat Cronos at 36,650,000, while warning that list prices can differ from cash-sale offers. Toyota’s October changes were comparatively small: Yaris Hatchback rose 1.7%, Hilux 0.6%, and other models in its range were unchanged.
